Held at the Pacific Rim Institute of Environmental Stewardship near Coupeville, WA, USA this is the first cider festival held on Whidbey Island, WA, USA.
The charming island is 25 miles north of Seattle and is recognized as a first rate tourism destination, and is home to 70,000 islanders and a new agri-culinary movement Whidbey Island Grown. Guests will enjoy tasting cider as well as purchase local food pairings and participate in family friendly activities.
Participating cidermakers include: Alpenfire Cider (WA), Bull Run Cider (OR), Finnriver Farm & Cidery (WA), Locust Cider (WA), Montana CiderWorks (MT), Pear UP (WA), Reverend Nat's Hard Cider (OR), Seattle Cider Co. (WA), and Snowdrift Cider Co. (WA)
Guests are encouraged to bring their own heirloom apples for expert identification and to ask questions about how cider is made. Childrens activities including face painting by Painture Face. Indoor/Outdoor event. Please wear comfy shoes. Rain or shine. No refunds.
Tickets are $25 for the cider tasting, which includes eight pours and a commemorative glass. General admission is free.
